Good for you, rskmom!

3/5/10 163 lbs.

I took a Spin class for the first time yesterday. My thighs and butt are sore too--mostly from sitting on that horrible seat! But I was proud of myself, because I have always been very intimidated by that class. It was kind of by accident, as I thought I was going to Wednesday's yoga class.

I am more or less off the cleanse. Not at all excited about having to cook again. That was the best part about it, no cooking. maybe i can do the clean eating menu.

I dropped another pound, which makes at least five, depending on where I start counting. I think I see a slight difference in the mirror. I didn't workout last week, though. When I'm going through rough patches emotionally its hard to keep it up.

3/6/10--no weigh in

today was pretty bad--definitely off the cleanse! I went to a pot luck breakfast meeting, and had a big cinnamon roll. Then I had a scone for a snack.

what I really need to do is get with DH and make a menu plan, then go shopping. I don't know why I resist this so much, it relieves so much stress when I do it.

I need to schedule my week, and then go to bed on time so I can get up and go to meetings and the gym and not have to take a nap when I get home. I only got a couple of hours of sleep last night. I took a nap, but I am still sleepy.

Home again and back on the wagon.

I didn't just go off my diet, I blew it to smithereens on this trip.

238.0 last night when I got in. 235.5 this morning. We'll see what a few days back on the wagon holds for me. I think there will be a pretty substantial water loss.

That happens to me EVERY time I travel, Zip. Very frustrating, I know.

I was really stressing out about succumbing to munchies and binging on biscotti last night (the only cookie-like thing we had in the house) until I got my period this morning and realized it was hormonal.

I slept ALL day today. got up at 3:00pm, took my meds and then went back to sleep until 7:00pm. I was feeling pretty depressed and overwhelmed. I am feeling better now, but the sleep schedule is shot. I really need to be recording my sleep pattern.

233.5--water is dropping, which is good. I'm hoping for another couple days of drop at least.

It usually takes me at least three days to rid myself of the water weight from drinking alcohol of any sort--even a glass of wine is a 3 pound/3 day gain.

I have a headache--been there since yesterday. Could be caffeine, I suppose--I had a lot of iced tea on vacation. Or carbs. More likely the carbs.

I get those same PMS munchies, LL. I can make anything into a munchie, given the right amount of desperation.

I did manage to stay off the soda completely. DH and I have taken to ordering either iced tea or club soda with lemon or lime. It takes a little getting used to ordering something different--this is a long time habit I'm breaking.

232.0

I'm still craving the carbs and sugar, and need to get past that.
