Default Homemade Rice-a-roni

Here's a homemade Rice-a-roni that I came across via the net and changed a bit to make it easier to find the ingredients in the spice rack. It tastes exactly the same as the chicken version and looks it too! I'm going to try a beef version next with subbing beef bullion cubes and adding just a dash of Kitchen Bouquet and leaving out the tumeric. Enjoy!

2 C white long grain rice
1 C spaghetti/angel hair noodles broken into small pieces
1/4 C dried parsley
8 cubes chicken bullion (not those big Knorr ones, just the small cubes)
2 t onion powder
1/2 t garlic powder
1/4 t thyme
1/2 t tumeric

Melt 2 T butter/margarine in pan. Add 1 C of rice mix & stir while slightly browning. Add 2 1/4 C water and bring to boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer covered for 15 minutes.
