This started as a joke, but here we are ... This is a chicken and the egg type conundrum. If my brain were uncluttered, focusing on housework would be easier. If my housework was closer to "done", whatever that means, I would be better able to focus and complete tasks

For me...definetly... housework getting done, then I have time to unclutter my brain...because it is one less thing that I am trying to think about!

Uncluttering my brain is defintely the most important.
When my brain is clouded (most of the time) I find it impossible to "settle down" enough to accomplish anything of importance. When my brain is settled and working properly, everything else is a breeze.

It is actually a standing joke with my friends. My brain is deeply organized, as are my pd gig deadlines and my finances. My house, not so much.

Pretty clear that housework isn't my biggest priority...

I HAVE to declutter my brain first, or nothing else happens but me chasing my tail around. That decluttering can be prayer, writing a list, working out, whatever - but it is definitely the starter.

Definitely the brain for me. On the other hand, I can't focus when I'm surrounded by stuff.

I've always been the type that if my surrounding are cluttered, I can't relax and let things go in my mind. But I do find it hard to decluter children that appear regularly around here (somehow I've managed to aquire 3 extra children that I didn't know I had)
