I'm bopping from thing to thing. Did some dishes, some laundry, some picking up, sent DH off to deal with A's phone at the Verizon store and buy more coffee.

Warming up the last of the ribs from the prime rib to eat for lunch. OM nom nom. Happily, prime rib is included on the whole 30.

    Good evening !

So exciting for you, Lyn !
Zip, I checked out the Whole 30. That's powerful
    stuff, good luck !
CF, have fun on the paper, I am right behind you on that.

dh got the tree down and back into the garage.

I had him move the recumbent into the living
room. It was in the way in the office after he
put in his drum set, I will try to put it to use.

The day is mostly gone with nothing accomplished.

    Short list for today:
Move paper sorting boxes onto dining room table
Move paper box into dining room from bedroom.
Books into boxes for a while

    Good Morning!

Return to adulting is also the plan here. The inner child really didn't want to get out of bed, but the surly teenagers made enough noise banging around that it was moot to stay in bed. At least I'll be ready for bed on time tonight.

Round one is working my way through the new morning routine, which involves a few habit changes - getting dressed immediately, eating breakfast, starting a load of laundry, and calendaring/planning. I imagine it will take me a few days to get the habits in place so I can start practicing them.

Do we gotta adult? Noooooo. Okay, more coffee. That counts as adulting, right?

I caught a little virus back in early Dec. that tanked my lung function so that even with additional O2 over my baseline, I've been a sluggggg - takes 4 to 6 weeks to get back to my "normal". It is a little frustrating, but it is what it is - at least I've stayed out of the slammer. I've watched all of The West Wing, ha! Going to finally try a little list, but won't go crazy.

    [] call about prescription
[] bring in the snowman and the T-rex before it gets really nasty out there (ironic for the snowman, I know)
[] p/a some of the decorations - we're going to figure out how to leave the top section of the tree out as a mini-tree with little lights
    [] break down some boxes
[] see if there's anything fun to run on the MakerBot

Ok, why do we deal with outdoor decorations when it is in the teens outside? And it was in the 40's earlier this week. Not too bright, but it is going to be wicked cold later this week ...

Good question, mm. I should be outside dealing with clean-up stuff that hasn't gotten done, but darn it, it's cold. (Cold for us, which means in the 20's.) I may be forced to find my slippers. Probably there will be consequences for failure to complete the winterization process.

Got through the morning routine, just not very efficiently.

Going to get through a few chores (as I'm not going to the gym until my new workout pants come, I'm making myself clean up).

Thanks, Em! I'm feeling mostly better - funny, I don't like to post about feeling icky until after it is almost done.

We got T-Rex and the snowman inside. I might leave the little spiral trees out for a few more days.
