    Hi CF!

The water people have been and gone. They shut off the fan that dries the floor - I call it "the screamer". Makes a terrible high pitched whine. The remaining fans and dehumidifiers are loud, but it's a lower rumble and easier to tolerate.

    cats
    dog
    coffee

    personal care
    scan/deposit check in bank
    pay bill
electronic refund for overpayment - HS
gather and pack up the Christmas decorations
    put away Christmas wrap
    fold and put away towels
    flip laundry to the dryer
sometime between 10 and 12 - work guys here
open up ham and divide it into slices, cut up pieces, and the bone (need soup stuff)

LL, so sorry to hear about your Mom.
    Hi CF!

Roads are better so I made a run to
Walmart for supplies and kittah food.
She has been pathetic with her sad
    eyes and meow

Changed my mind about church. I can go
tomorrow if the weather is good. With no

LL! You're all in my thoughts and prayers.

I've apparently been welded to this kitchen chair by a lack of motivation. I had a ham sandwich and surfed Amazon for books. Debating how much is really going to get done today - but I should at least flip the laundry before it starts smelling funny.

Well it is 2015 and the year got off to a scare.

I got up at about 2:30am to go to the bathroom (I only got to bed about 1:00am)
and decided to go and get a drink of water while I was up.
I noticed flashes of light and rumbling, so I knew the "promised" storm was finally
here...then as I was about to walk back into our room I noticed on the wall above
our bed the biggest spider. Spiders totally freak me out, so I managed to wake
Mike - he killed it, but I couldn't get back to sleep (I was seeing spiders every time
I closed my eyes), so I sat up in the family room and watched 2 episodes of
Downton Abbey. Finally fell asleep at 6:30am and woke again at 8:00am...so I think I
will try and nap later today.

    Done:

    watch Downton Abbey S5ep8
watch Downton Abbey "A Moorland Holiday"
    do clicking
Public Affairs: post to Facebook page
    tidy desk

    Plan Of Attack:

    make bed
pick up things on MBR floor
    tidy family room
    disinfect toilets
    find something for dinner
Taking Care of Me: showered and dressed
Taking Care of Me: eat breakfast
wash, dry and put away breakfast dishes/tidy kitchen
    tidy lounge room
    collect washing
    do washing
    hang washing on line
    take wheelie bins to kerb
Taking Care of Me: eat lunch
wash, dry and put away lunch dishes/tidy kitchen
Taking Care of Me: have a nap
    fold and put away washing
    cook dinner
Taking Care of Me: (Evening) eat dinner/take arthritis supplement
My Reward: read "Cutting for Stone" by Abraham Verghese
    410D40N Challenge
wash, dry and put away dinner dishes/tidy kitchen
Taking Care of Me: (Evening) blood pressure tablets

Zip, after the last 2 years, you have
more than earned some "sit" time.
    Lyn, scary !

Didn't want to post my list again.

I have made a decision about which list to use.
I have decided to stick with my usual one. I am
still very inconsistent with it and I am afraid if I
tie myself down to specific times I will lock up.

So going to do a little tweaking tonight, and then
I am going to get motivated to make this a good new year.

    Thanks, y'all.

Apparently I didn't post my last list, so I'll recap:

    DONE:
    take power nap
    wash Swedish dishes
    get out vintage linens
    take pictures of Swedish dishes
try to resize them on photobucket to no avail
complain to customer service about it--maybe its an ipad thing
    pick out what to wear
    take shower
    get dressed
    pack up and load car
    drive over and unload car
    chat w/ DM
get a tour of her "myhealthcare" website
    sort laundry
    put a load in
bring down box of clothes to transfer to smaller boxes

    NEXT UP:
check fb for info and do not get sucked in
    sort clothes and rebox
    put hangers in boxes
    label boxes
    hang up delicates
take to DB's closet to dry
set up fan in DB's closet
    put another load in

    LL!

OH NO, ZIP!! I think I remember that previous toilet incident, too. Have we all been together that long?

    Arrrrgh, Lyn!!! I'd be freaking!

Happy New Year to all! We're just low-key here ... Stella's making put-upon "trying to sleep noises" because the makerbot is printing. Mochi tomorrow. Or possibly tonight -- ds has been cajoling for some.

Yes, MM - we totally have been. This one was DH - the cat threw up on our comforter at 2 am and I'm not going to complain because he got up, wiped up the mess, and tossed the tissues in the toilet and flushed them. For whatever reason they didn't flush completely and the overflow failed. (We replaced all the toilets after that last fiasco, and I have never once in the past 10 years had one overflow).

So, when I got up at 5 to use the bathroom, the cold pond and the "splash, splash" of my bare feet woke me up, fast!

I'm totally vegging today. DH got pizza for dinner and I downloaded and read two new books on my Kindle. Tomorrow's good for putting away the Christmas stuff.

    Happy New Year, all!
