I have finished and mailed two of three transcriptions, and will have to set the third aside for later. It's 1 PM and I have done nothing else around here.

    Top Three Today:
    1. Finish transcriptions and email them to A.
    2. Dishes and kitchen recovery (Good grief.)
    3. Meeting prep, posting of documents online, and other secretary paperwork.

Not top, but would be good:
    1. hard boiled eggs
    2. drop off DS13's clarinet for service
    3. get the wrap/boxes/recycling/whatnot out of the living room and back to the proper place
    4. set up fitbit when it comes

    Daily Stuff:
    breakfast/coffee
    dog
    cats
    kids
    personal care

trash/recycle/compost - collected, out to curb
make sure trash is full, clean out more of the kitchen if there's space
    litter boxes
put away the basket of towels and rags at the top of the stairs

    Better get started!

I'm doing between-semester puttering/cleaning/etc. Just got off the phone with kid:

A: "Mom, do we have a box?"
Me: "Yes, you can use anything in the basement."
A: "No, I mean one made of wood. That will fit ME."
    Me: "Uh, no."
A: "How about wheels? And paint? And a steering wheel?"

    Oh my.

Playing "Pick Up & Put Away" with two or three things every time I get up from the computer. So far I've:

cleared my desk of non-office stuff
    decluttered my bathroom counter
    put the dry dishes away
cleared off the top of the washing machine
put the rest of the groceries away
started a small load of laundry
got the banking ready for tomorrow

    Current Project in Progress:
decluttering of the desk drawers in the office

    reminders:
    print out new book sheets
put bulb back in the porch light
    Save

Well the house is back in shape again...I have only been doing the basics
while Mike was on holidays so that I could spend as much time with him
as possible. Today we cleaned from top to bottom.
Thank goodness Mike was here to do the tall stuff for me, moving heavy
    things and the vacuuming.

Get the house back into shape:

    Master bedroom and ensuite
    Spare bedroom
    Tahnee's bedroom
    Tahnee's Bathroom and toilet
    Retreat
    Study
    Downstairs Hallway
    Lounge room
    Dining room
    Kitchen
    Downstairs Toilet
    Family Room
    Laundry

    Normal stuff:

    collect washing
    do washing
    hang washing on line
fold and put away all the washing
    take recycling to bin
Taking Care of Me: showered and dressed
Taking Care of Me: eat breakfast
Taking Care of Me: eat lunch

    Still to do:

    cook dinner
Taking Care of Me: (Evening) eat dinner, blood pressure tablets, multi vitamins, Olive leaf juice, krill oil tablets

    dinner

    Should probably also:
    sort mail
put all the wrap/boxes and stuff away
    vacuum downstairs
    clean downstairs bathroom
rewash the comforter that's in the laundry
sort laundry and get it moving through the system
    clean kid bathroom
    recover the kitchen
bring trash bins back up to the house
    clean upstairs litter box
empty, wash and refill downstairs litter box
change the sheets on my bed
    about a dozen other things...

Made a run to the store to restock fruit and nasal saline per D's request. Warming up some chicken soup now, again at D's request. Think I just may let him plan my day. It would be much more fun than the stuff on my list.

Haircut, another grocery run for popsicles, nap, and keeping up with dishes while totally ignoring everything else sums up the rest of my day.

I can now officially say something:

Mike and I are going to be grandparents again.
Stephen and Kerin are expecting their 2nd child in July.
I have known since my birthday, but was sworn to secrecy.
Yesterday Steve rang and told us that they are telling people now,
so it is okay for us to start telling people.

Congrats, Lyn! To Stephen and Kerin as well!

Hope the boy is feeling better, Kim! I was considering taking the dog out for a walk - we could both use it, and DH wants me to bring him something for his computer (yeah, his office is a pretty easy walk) - but the rest of this list is a little scary, and I haven't even managed lunch...Hmmmm.

    Top three for today:

    Thank you for the congratulations.
It is not facebook official yet...so we still have to be a little quiet about it.
