    Default Plastic cup Christmas ball

Does anyone have the "pattern" and directions for making a Christmas ball from clear plastic cups and a string of Christmas lights? The cups form a "ball" and the lights are inserted in the bottom of the cups. Somehow they are put together (glue?) and can be hung and lit up at Christmas. I know they used to be very popular, but haven't seen any directions for them in years.

    Thanks !

SW, thanks so much !!!! I had no idea what to call it, but that is exactly what I was talking about. We used to do them in Home Extention and scouts .. but I never knew they had a name.

    Again, thanks!!

They are so cute I e-mailed a friend of mine to see if we want to do them as a craft this summer at our Girls Only Camping Weekend!

Oh wow, I've never seen anything like this. I have all these Christmas lights that used to go on our tree, but now that I have a pre-lit tree....

hmmmm....might have to do some crafting.

I was telling a friend about this, and now we are working on plans to make a couple of them.
