    Default Scarlet's Good Intentions 101 in 1001

    For My Body

    1. Drink nothing but water for 2 weeks.
    2. Walk in another marathon and not finish dead last for my age group.
    3. Get the two fillings that I need done.
    4. Loose 15 pounds.
    5. Get back to biking in the summer. At least twice a week for 1 month.
    6. Rollerblade around my neighborhood and park twice a week for 1 month.
    7. When weather permits, start walking with my neighbor again.

    8. Grow out bangs and see if I like the look.
    9. Wear make-up everyday for 2 weeks. (0/14)
    10. Do something with my hair (other than a scrunchie) for 2 weeks. (0/14)

    11. Play tennis once with someone else for fun and exercise.

    For My Family

    1. Go camping someplace I've never been.

      For My Environment

      1. Read up on what can be recycled through my city and make a bigger effort to do so. (Found flyer and posted on the fridge)
      2. Cut back on drinking bottled water and use filtered water as much as possible.
      3. Celebrate Earth Day in some way.

      4. Purchase or make durable grocery bags and use them instead of plastic when possible. (.99¢ at Kroger, will buy a few each trip) (bought 3 on 2/2/08)
      [s]5. Make a bigger effort to return the shopping carts to the return or to the front of the store, even if the weather is junky.[/s] (worked all Jan 2008 & will continue)

      For My Psyche

      1. Go to a Broadway show in downtown Detroit.

      3. Go to a concert.
      4. Decrease the amount of volunteer work I do.
      5. Go to 6 restaurants I've never been to within a year.  (1/6) Braum's Steak House 1/31/08
      6. Do something nice for someone anonymously.
      7. Read 4 Jane Austin Novels (can be counted toward my 1 book a month for a year). Bought Emma, Pride & Prejudice, Mansfield Park, and Persuasion.
      8. Bring flowers to a friend who least expects them.

      per from bathroom walls.
      3. Repair bathroom walls.
      4. Paint bathroom walls a nice sand color.
      5. Organize all my recipes in one place.
      6. Replace couch and love seat in living room.
      7. Go through my closet and toss/donate clothes I don't wear, that are damaged or will be out of style before I fit into them again.
      8. Weed out, list and sell chick lit paperbacks I've read.
      9. Use the money to save toward another trip to Disney World for my family.
      10. Go through and only put away things that we use for Christmas.
      11. Replace bulbs that burn out with compact fluorescent bulbs. (kitchen ceiling light, 2 bulbs, now compact fluorescent) 1/28/08
      12. I will, once and for all time, complete the files. Pick all the folders off the floor and either file or create files for everything!
      13. Label all the past re-finances and archive what I don't need.
      14. Create a filing system that works for us, instead of forcing us to conform to what isn't working.
      15. De-clutter bedroom.
      16. Rearrange bedroom.
      17. Dust and clean bedroom.
      18. Buy new dryer to match washer.
      19. Take everything out of kitchen cabinets and wipe them inside and out. (0/14)

      7. Go tubing with family. Actually get on the tube.
      8. Get a rockin suntan.
      9. Learn how to play canasta and beat someone at it.
      10. Go skiing.
      11. Go ice skating with DD.
      12. Go sledding.
      13. Go on a all girl camping trip.
      14. Build a snowman.

    I actually started doing a few things on my list Jan 7th, so I'm going to make that my start date. My end date is Oct. 4th, 2010.

    Ok... I've tried um-teen times to post my list without tripping over the extra code the new software wants to add. According to the above post, I'm over half done with my list in 1 month. Not bad!
