    Default Papercrafting Thread

    Hi all,

I don't know if there are any other scrapbookers here, but if there are, I wanna see your stuff! And show off mine too, of course. I am learning how to make cards. I also am learning how to do die-cuts (I have a QuiKutz Squeeze). I got fascinated by the "negative space" left behind after cutting out the snowflake, so ended up making a bunch of cards out of that paper.

I started making these at a "make and take" party I hosted for my friends, and did the rest last night (I actually made two of each design). The good news is, they are in the mail!

:www_MyEmoticons_com__blush: Thanks everyone! I fell in love with the paper and used my party as an excuse to buy it. I still have some left over, so hopefully I can do some more before its too late. I am trying to return a card to everyone who sent me one. I'm tired of sending cards to my friends who don't reciprocate. <insert Grinch smiley here>

LL, you should be proud of yourself - those are awesome!

We have a friend who always makes her own card and incorporates a pix of her kids in it - we just got hers today. My neice made a neat one at kodak.com with a collage of pix of her 2 yo. Very cool stuff.

I am not that creative, but I love to see other people's crafty work.

Zactly! I don't have a creative bone in my body (you should see the Christmas tree sweat shirt sitting on my dining room table, looks like a green blob!).

Those are so cute, LL! I recently got a papercrafting book, but haven't done anything with it yet - too busy with the business and knitting. After the first of the year, I plan to try some projects out of it.

    Love the snowflakes!!
