Kermie, sounds like the best meal to me!

We're having leftovers - chicken enchilada casserole and hamburger rice casserole. I was going to add some more sauce and warm up the meatballs and little smokies from the other night but I forgot to put them in and turn and on the crockpot this morning. Guess that will for tomorrow!

I've got ground turkey I need to use today, but I also have a fridge full of leftovers. I think I'll ask DH to brown the turkey for tomorrow's dinner and work on using up the leftovers tonight.

    Last night

Ocean trout pasta (poached trout fillets in a dijon mustard, garlic and lite cream sauce over fettucine) with garlic sourdough (all out of the freezer or fridge, no shopping required!)

Last night - meatballs and little smokies in sauce, cheese and crackers, and chips and dip. We only had the two Ds8 home and they asked for a repeat of the snacks we had for NYE!

    Spaghetti with turkey marinara sauce

This week I'm going to try and clear out the pantry and then shift to a just in time meal plan approach for a while. Weekly shopping is not working ~ I'm losing to much produce and meat. I'm going to try three day plans with a few emergency meals in the pantry.

Tonite is busy for us so it will be ministrone soup that I did in the crock pot yesterday. I had a marathon cooking session yesterday and made 10 servings of veggie marinara sauce to freeze, zuchinni bars wtih cream cheese frosting, 2 zuchinni breads (see a theme here?) fennel mashed potatos to freeze and roasted veggies to put on a pilaf later in the week.

Hmm...Ds12 has a championship Little League game - he has to be there at 4:45. He'll most likely have a pb sammy and chips with fruit.

Dh has a dr. appointment and will just make it to Ds12's game.

That's good because I have to pick up both Ds9 from the church camp bus when the game starts, then take them to said game. They will most likely have something either at the concession stand once we get there, or from the drive through on hte way. :-\

    Me and dh? TBD!!!
