    Hi Lizzie!

Em and I are doing a one month challenge, so I'm posting to stay accountable...I have a belt test one month from today, and every bit I push now will make that test go better.

    Starting Weight: 262.2 (ackackackackack)
    Starting TI: 144.5 (whimper)

I told you those four pounds would drop right off! Did I tell you??

    Starting weight: 259.2/54.3
    Today's weight: 257.2/54.1
    Starting TI: 152.5

Started wearing my pedometer again, and am working on making more short walks. Wish I could do long ones, but this hip just won't cooperate.

Yeah, you told me. ;) You were right...I tend to forget just how much my body dislikes carbs and just how much water I retain. I should come to a screeching halt here, shortly, once I finish dumping water.

    Starting Weight: 262.2

    Today: 254.6

Yesterday's Exercise: Nothing, really. Time to kick that part of the program into gear!

Exercise goals for the remainder of the week: One more TKD class, finish the pushup test, one good cardio workout at the gym

Well, scaled moved in the wrong direction today, but body fat went down, so that may presage a drop in poundage.

    Starting weight: 259.2/54.3
    Today's weight: 257.4/53.8

    Starting TI: 152.5

Made progress on the activity front yesterday - nearly doubled my steps. Hope to do more today than yesterday.

Sigh ... had a binge food yesterday. I know better, but I did it anyway, and the scale shows it.

    Starting weight: 259.2/54.3
    Today's weight: 259.3/53.7

Ah, well, I'm sure it's water, since my weakness is salt. Today will be a better day.

I was sooooo hungry on Thursday - it was all I could do to avoid eating everything I saw. Yesterday was somewhat better, but I was so busy it was hard to find time to eat. I had some rice yesterday, but don't seem to have gotten a big bounce from it the way I do from bread.

    Starting Weight: 262.2

    Today: 252.2

Exercise has been pathetic to non-existent, so I hope to get to the gym this weekend and get started.

    Starting TI: 144.5

    EM & Zip!

My last six week challenge ended yesterday. I had forgotten about the deadline. Start was: 151, end was: 147.5. Frankly I think all my fluctuation was water weight.

My commitments for this challenge, ending May 6th:

    1) weigh in every day, post it on my body log
    2) post my weight on the weigh in thread once a week
    3) read/post here at least twice a week
    4) at least start my food log five days a week
    5) finish it at least twice a week
    6) do Fletcher towel work (Pilates for the shoulder girdle) at least two times a week
    7) go for a walk at least once a week
    8) update my sleep/meds log at least five days a week
    9) do my evening routine at least four days a week
    10) do my morning routine at least four days a week
    11) go to therapy twice a week
    12) go to massage therapy once a week
    13) have a play-date with DH or a friend at least once a week
    14) take measurements (inches & fat percentages) today
    15) take measurements three weeks in
    16) take measurements at the end of the challenge
    17) have tea instead of ice cream two times a week
    18) do my breathing and posture exercises four days a week
    19) make a menu plan once a week
    20) go grocery shopping once a week

    What I'm visualizing:

    1) freedom from a compulsion to eat
    2) making healthy choices when I want comforting
    3) lovely walks
    4) improving my fat ratio by 2%
    6) getting under 145 lbs and staying there
    7) ease in starting and cooking healthy meals

Looks like you are doing well, Lizzie! Some water weight fluctuation is always to be expected. Holding steady is a big challenge for me.

It appears as though I've found the bottom of the water weight, though it's hard to tell because we ate out twice yesterday. I was well within my calories for the day, but there was a lot of sodium. I did make good choices both times, though, so I'm pleased with that.

    Starting Weight: 262.2

    Today: 252.6

Exercise has been pathetic to non-existent, so I hope to get to the gym this weekend and get started.

I just realized I forgot to post this morning!

Ate fine yesterday, and think I did pretty well today, too.

Oh yay, looks like I've found my very first plateau. Not surprising at all.

    Goal this week: Exercise!

I have been doing Battle at SP.

I lost and kept off 1 pound in 8 weeks, really nothing to brag about.

Two bouts of gout later, I am hoping to begin to get busy again.

Starting weight for this week (Sun) was 221.8.
Today was 220.4, most of which was payday weekend eating wearing off.
