    This is an interesting plan.

I may try it with you, however school starts in a week,
so we will see what I can work in.

    Thanks for sharing.

Hope everything goes well with baby! You can always peck away at the decluttering--sometimes deadlines are a good thing, but sometimes they just stress you out.

I still like the idea of this and still plan to work on it
Going to need to change some categories since no babies here:

    DAYS

    1- current clothes:
Last weekend I sorted the summer clothes, washed, dried and boxed them up. Ditto with the winter stuff. All dh stuff is in his side of the closet .. no seasonal changes except short sleeves to long sleeves and coats

    2- stored clothes
Last weekend I sorted the summer clothes, washed, dried and boxed them up. Ditto with the winter stuff.

    3- shoes :
I only have about 6 pairs of shoes: 2 prs tennies, 1 pr dress black shoes, 1 pr sandals, 1 pr black slip-on "backless shoes (my gout attack shoes)", bedroom slippers. The sandals, dress shoes, and slippers are in the closet and the rest in the office. dh has even less, so we are good on those.

    4- winter gear:
I washed the coats in the spring, so they are ready; sweaters, gloves, and hats were washed last weekend

    5- Change to winter sheets:
I bought a new set of fleese sheets for each bed. Will wait until it gets cooler to put them on. I am thinking about getting rid of one set each of the flimsy sheets.

6- Change to winter blankets: Yay! It's working
Need to check dh's blanket to make sure it works, I bought a new one for my bed this week since my electric one went out in the spring ... Found dh's good blue comforter, now it needs to be washed ...

    7- bathroom (towels, washrags)
All our towels are in good shape and we have an adequate supply, so this one is good as well. Found several more in one of his drawers so will wash them up as well.

8- Kitchen dishes- (plates, glasses/cups, soup bowls, flatware)

    9- baking dishes/pans-

    10- pots-

    11- mixing bowls/baking misc.-

    12- small/large appliances-

    13- storage containers-

    14- kitchen towels:
Bought a small set of towels (4) and a set of potholders (2) and (1) glove one and (2) new clothes yesterday, old ones were dingy and stained and I was tired of looking at them. New ones are dark colored and have roosters on them LOL Old ones were moved to garage for rags

    15- tablecloths, napkins & candles
2 new napkins bought this weekend, mostly because I need (1) for the etiquete program I am giving for Marketing Your Image

16- linen closet-Linen closet is neat and contains all our sheets except the cream colored ones I found in a box today (need to wash) and 1 blue sheet of dh's .. ongoing search is going on it ...will need to reorganize it to fit in the stuff I found today, but not much to it.

    17- laundry room-

18- machines: vacuum, steam mop, rug cleaner

    19-

    20-

    21-

    22-

    23- books

    24- magazines-

    25- movies-

    26- books-

    27- tapes & CD's

    28- Games-

29- Wash the 3 rugs from the LR, one needs to be taken to a BIG machine, so will schedule that for farther into winter. Want it clean before the grandbaby comes in mid-Dec.

    30-

    31-

    32-

33- kitchen drawers if misc and under the sink

    34-

    35- decorations (regular and seasonal)

    36- office papers/bills

    37- office equip./supplies & shipping supplies

    38- toys-

    39- pantry foodstuffs

    40- pantry canning supplies

    41- pantry gardening stuff

    42- furniture

I'm in! I've been working on the clothes for weeks b/c they seem to keep ending up on the kids' floors and are not "cycling" through my plan right. I like the idea of one item a day. Yeah! I'll start tomorrow. Some dear friends just found out they have an extremely expensive cancer treatment starting and only catastrophic insurance. I want to help them out by having a yard sale in the spring. In the meantime, I have to figure out where to store all this stuff in the garage until then! Yikes! Better get moving!
