What are you grateful for?

My health. My boys. Dh and the fact that after 20 years of marriage and all the ups and downs, he still makes me smile and laugh. My Dad, he's 83 and still kicking. My mil, for without her, I'd have no dh. For friends I have come to know and come closer to this year, and who have helped me on my spiritual walk.

Big bushels of Thanks for the ones who have stood together twice and walked away. Each one of you are my " superheros" in many many ways.
Thank goodness for diversity, compassion and the humor that we all have.
I give thanks for people who read their email and are curious enough to look at things once, twice or how many times it takes.

I give thanks for the fact that I am 80 pounds lighter and a whole lot wiser !
I give thanks for my Mother's health and my Father's patience.
I give thanks that DH, the sometimes awful Viking ogre, is paying the bills for the time being.
I give thanks for my wonderful daughters and my blessing I call a son.
I am so thankful that I am blessed with a small piece of the country to call home and at the same point can escape the rural stillness for city.
and yes- I am thankful for Bob the Dog- who knows everything, listens intensely and always responds intuitively.

I'll second that. Extra thanks to those who saw what was coming and grabbed me and told me to come along.

And I'm grateful for my faith, my family, my friends.
And the gym and WW as well.
And for living in Canada where even if the weather is lousy most of the people are decent and many are kind and friendly and tolerant.
And for the the fact that I don't have to commute.
And for cats and horses.
And books.
And libraries.
And my house which is a 20 minute train ride from downtown T.O. and a 20 minute drive from countryside and a 10 minute walk to my place of worship.
And for the internet and e-mail which make it easy to keep in touch with family and friends, even ones from uni days who are now on the other side of the world.
And so much more.
Telemarketing and tailgating should be made capital offences. [/snarly rant]
