    Morning all!

My wish for all my EDSW friends is that 2009 is all that you hope it will be!

We watched WallE last night and then dh, myself and one Ds9 went to bed. Not sure when the other two went to bed, but they were going to sleep in the basement and were in their beds this morning. Ds12 is still asleep.

Dh and one Ds9 headed out at O'Dark:30 for Tenessee to visit friends. They should get there late this afternoon.

I have to get moving because the girl that cleans for us is coming at 10 and we need to vacate the premises. I'm thinking we'll cruise the clearance aisles at a couple stores and grab some lunch.

    Happy New Year Supers!

DB and family are coming over later so I've got to do a whole house tidy plus give some extra attention to the kitchen and bathroom. The theme for this year is "good enough".

Good morning all! I was missing yesterday due to a power outage, but it was in my brain not the house. We had a quiet New Year celebration at home and watched Wall-E with the boys. We all made it to midnight to watch the fireworks at the Space Needle on TV and then everybody promptly crashed.

The boys and I watched the Tournament of Roses parade this morning followed by a breakfast of pancakes, fruit and some of the sparkling cider from last night. Right now we're figuring out what a bored 8yo can do. Life is so hard when your mom won't let you play Wii.

Hey, Kimberley, we watched WallE last night too! We rented it. Very cute.

MM, guess what I found in the 75% off Target Cmas clearance today? Yes, the dreaded Cmas newsletter paper! I was good and only picked up two packs, since I still have an assortment left from previous years. I, too, skipped all the wrapping paper this year since I actually recycled a bunch after Cmas this year that wouldn't fit into the storage bin I have for it.

I got Dh's godson an outfit for next Cmas at BRU, along with a game dh asked for.

Picked up a cool snowman for our front window at 50% off at The Christmas Tree Shop.

Fed the boys at the Target lunch counter thingy and then had a salad myself.

    brain dump:
    ~wash out all wastebaskets
~clean glass shelves in kitchen cupboards
~marinate some chicken; cook up other chicken and freeze
~eventually grill marinated chicken and freeze
    ~review payroll form for accuracy
~errands: returnable bottles; bank, credit union
~consolidate all games to linen closet
~put snowman in front window; move plant to garden window
    ~update checkbook register
~look for receipt for Life game
    ~start decluttering filing cabine
~inventory LaX stuff; list of needs
~mt and declutter cabinet above frig
    ~mt; declutter; put back - Ds9's closet
~mt; delutter; put back - front entry closet
    ~budget software post
~call 529 plan re: double w/d; get correct date
~look up hotel info re: K
    ~look up Pinewood derby info
~bleach MaBa shower; try to clean shower doors inside and out
~wash boys coats and snow pants: Sunday
    ~wash rugs in laundry room
    ~pa all lol
~deal with hand me downs we received; wash
    ~total frig clean

Not sure when I'll get to any or all of it, but I need to capture those random thoughts pinging around in my head.

    ttyl!

Wow, Supers, I am really impressed, considering that its a holiday! Y'all are kicking booty! :1upblue:

I am waking up really slowly. Spooky is not letting me out of his sight. He reverted to kneading last night, but only bare skin would do. I kept pulling the covers up higher and higher, until he was laying on my head.

I am really sore from a workout my trainer friend gave me Tuesday, so am a bit hampered. YM I think I'll adopt "good enough" as my theme for today.

Happy New Year, Supers! Back from the paid gig ... dusty and tired. New Years Morning is always a quiet time at work, so we pick a project and the staff go gangbusters on it for a few hours. Today we super-scrubbed the basement bathroom and laundry room in the group home

Going to chill out for a few minutes, then change my clothes 'cause DMIL and the three of us are going to DM's for dinner.

    See ya later,
    K

    Morning, er, Afternoon, Supers!

So far, I've chatted with Trish, bemoaned the state of my living room, had coffee, ate breakfast/brunch, and chatted with DH about the wisdom of continuing the gym membership.

Really time to get something accomplished! It's a little late in the day, but time to test drive the new daily list.

Nice lists, everyone! I'm looking them over to see what I can steal. :lol2:

Lunch is done and the kitchen is still in disarray. However, my fridge looks fabulous. I need to clean up the kitchen, sweep and mop the floor and then get cleaned up before DB and family arrive.
